It's easy to overlook the other churches in Winchester because the cathedral is so magnificent - I was only there for a weekend and didn't make it to St Cross either, although I meant to. I was in Winchest...Thanks for posting your photos. I was in Winchester a couple of years ago but didn't know about Hyde Abbey or the Hospital of St. Cross and its fine church.
