To God
by Robert Herrick
LORD, I am like to mistletoe,
Which has no root, and cannot grow
Or prosper but by that same tree
It clings about ; so I by Thee.
What need I then to fear at all,
So long as I about Thee crawl ?
But if that tree should fall and die,
Tumble shall heav'n, and down will I.

Dear Clerk,
Take a look at our blog: www.catholicheritage.blogspot.com.
If you have any interest in the content and if you have anything interesting to say about Irish medieval matters, we're always looking for new posters and contributers to our journal 'Christus Regnat'.
Thanks!
Maeve
