
From the east window of the little church of
St Catherine's, Kingsdown, designed by Edward Welby Pugin and built in 1866, the church from which
these stained-glass apostles also come. You can probably tell it's a Resurrection scene; for some reason these wings make me think not just of birds' wings but of organ pipes...
